501(c)(3) Crisis Intervention Management

This is the ‘ER’ (Emergency Room) for non-profits. A non-profit may reach the crisis point where it recognizes that it is not able to continue to fulfill their mission under present circumstances. That crisis point can be as painful as facing an impending death of a loved one. For the organization, this may be a financial crisis, a functional crisis, or a spiritual crisis. It may be a crisis in perceptions.

GRE Consulting Associates utilizes a collaborative and integrative crisis intervention model. We holistically address the crisis at multiple levels— individual, organizational, and community. Our continuum of care crisis intervention for non-profits involves assessment, intervention, and education. We bring a team of seasoned professionals ready to step in and provide full crisis support and interim management. We work within an integrative framework to help Board Members, Management and Staff face difficult choices and take decisive action under painful circumstances.

Samuel Mahaffy, Executive Director of GRE Consulting has extensive training and experience in mediation and conflict resolution. He has especially worked in faith-based organizations, where conflict can become an impediment to fulfillment of organizational mission. Through a one-on-one listening process and a group Appreciative Visioning process he helps organizations move forward from deeply wounded places, while respecting confidentiality and honoring the needs of vulnerable individuals.
