Appreciative Inquiry

Children Playing

This is a facilitated discovery process. We reach for what is the ‘best’ of an organization to uncover the potential for positive change. using the Appreciative Inquiry model (www.appreciativeinquiry.case.edu)

We start with the belief that an organization is a ‘mystery to be stepped into’ rather than a ‘problem to be solved’. The questions we ask shape the outcomes we expect.

It is our experience that the model is especially appropriate for faith-based organizations. It looks beyond the organizational ‘wandering in the wilderness’ to the arrival in the Promised Land! Let us share with you success stories of organizations that have used this model to build cohesive and compelling steps toward fulfilling organizational mission by engaging multiple stakeholders in the appreciative process.

Samuel Mahaffy, our Executive Director is a nationally recognized facilitator of the Appreciative Inquiry Visioning process and has facilitated this work for multiple community and faith-based organizations.
