GRE Consulting Partners with the Service Station

In May 2009 Scot Robinson, President of the Service Station and Samuel Mahaffy, Executive Director of GRE Consulting developed a collaborative partnership to further the ministry of both organizations. GRE Consulting opened an upstairs office in the Service Station. From this office, it serves community and faith-based organizations. We assist the Service Station in developing partnership grant applications to federal and foundation sources. The relationship holds great promise. The Service Station provides GRE Consulting with a premier location for facilitating visioning work with non-profit Boards and ministries. The consulting services offered by GRE, enhances the range of services available at the Service Station.

Since forming a partnership with the Service Station, GRE Consulting has worked with more than seventy-five non-profit organizations in the region. Many of these have participated in partnership funding applications or scheduled visioning retreats at the Service Station. We expect the Service Station to be the site for Board trainings in the Board Room, Visioning Retreats in the Green Room, and Grant Writing and Fund Raising Training in the upstairs conference room outside our office.

The Service Station is a ‘happening’ place! It has been the site for community fundraisers, wedding receptions, worship services, musical events, and lectures.
