GRE ConsultingAll Families Adult Day Care Center has opened in Mead, Washington as the first state-approved Center in Eastern Washington that offers extended day care services six days a week, to the elderly and adults with special needs. The Journal of Business reported on the unique model developed by Dr. Renee Rinderknecht. The Center accepts COPES clients as well as private pay. Dr. Rinderknecht believes that it is important to go deeper than labeling the elderly with the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. The Center seeks to keep the elderly connected to the community and young people in an activity-rich environment. Accepting Medicaid as well as private pay ‘friends’ into a small ‘family-like setting’, the Center has an Advisory Board that includes professionals with diverse experience in serving the elderly and adults with special needs. GRE Consulting Associates, under a contract with All Families Adult Day Care Center, developed the business plan for the Center, assisted in obtaining start-up funding, and offers on-going marketing support.
